With the usual turnover in personnel in our Fire, EMS and law
enforcement
agencies, these training sessions are being held for the public safety
sector.

Sunday April 19 Milan High School Elementary School
Sponsored by Milan Rescue 30 Classes by Ripley County EMA.
Come for the day or just attend the session needed.
9am - 12 noon NIMS IS 700A The new FEMA certification, replacing the IS
700.
All public safety, health, utilities and govt. officials are still
required
to have this certification. Classroom session with testing done after.
Successful students will receive certificate from FEMA via Ripley Co EMA.
If
you have 700, you do not need 700A
1pm-330pm Severe Weather ( not National Weather Service class). Covers
information for long range planning, severe weather occurrences,
internet
usage and other information to benefit you in severe weather.
330p-53pm Hazardous Materials Awareness refresher- OSHA style- (this is
not
a state certification class)
EMA will be providing refreshments. All times are approximate.

Storm Spotters class presented by the National Weather Service,
Wilmington,
Ohio. Good opportunity to ask questions directly to the weather service.
